An Edwardian Travel Set

1900 - 1920
Description

A beautiful brown Edwardian leather travel case (possibly Crocodile?) with an original set of four bottles inside.

Two of the bottles are rectangular in shape and the other two are half moon shaped. All of them have undamaged heart shaped stoppers and we think the lids are made of pewter.

Other than a little verdigris around the edge of two bottles, all are in perfect condition and fit beautifully into the purpose made case.

The case measures 11cm in height and 10 cm wide and on both sections there is a trade stamp of a small flower/daisy. We are unable to trace who made it.

Declaration

Lancaster Antiques has dated this piece to the Edwardian era.
