Antique English Sterling Silver Napkin Ring in Presentation Box - 1887

Description

A handsome Victorian napkin ring made from sterling silver with exquisite engraved decoration surrounding a large shield shaped cartouche to the front.

There is a full hallmark for Birmingham 1887, a true Victorian example, the makers initials are also present M & L for the silversmith Minshull & Latimer.

The napkin ring comes in a charming leather covered presentation box measuring 2 1/4" deep x 1 3/4" wide x 2 1/4" tall. The napkin ring weighs 28.2 Grams or 0.91 Troy Ounces. Excellent condition.
