Fowey River Antiques has dated this piece to the 1890s.
It has a wonderful pale amethyst coloured reservoir and a white fluted glass shade.
The lamp really stands out because of the fabulous cut glass support standing on a black ceramic base which compliments the shade beautifully.
It has been fully and professionally restored with the brass being bright and crisp yet retaining the patina you would expect from a lamp of this age.
The shade, support and chimney are in perfect condition with no chips or cracks and it is extremely heavy.
It measures 28" maximum height and the base is 7.0" across.
The burner is maked DUPLEX MADE IN ENGLAND
