Fowey River Antiques has dated this piece to the 1880s.
It has a solid brass and constrasting copper reservoir and a superb decorated tulip shaped apricot coloured glass shade.
The lamp really stands out because of the fabulous decorated solid brass pillar on a most beautiful base which compliments the shade and reservoir beautifully.
It has been fully and professionally restored with the brass being bright and crisp yet retaining the patina you would expect from a lamp of this age.
The shader and chimney are in perfect condition with no chips or cracks and it is extremely heavy.
It measures 26" maximum height and the base is 7.5" in diameter.
The burner is maked DUPLEX MADE IN ENGLAND
