Puckerings has dated this piece to the 1900s.

Obviously a small set for one (hence the name Batchelor), with a teapot with Ebony wood handle, a cream jug and sugar both lavishly giled inside. The teapot is marked EPNS, the other two pieces EPGS (both the same). There is also the mark A1 denoting the best quality of silver-plating and B for Birmingham.

Excellent condition, the teapot spans 7" handle to spout and stands 5" tall to top of finial; the creamer spans 4 1/4" handle to spout and stands 2 5/8" tall; the sugar spans 5" handle to handle and stands 3" tall. The presentation box measures 12" x 9 3/4" x 3 1/2".
