Description

A charming cast figural brass inkwell of William Shakespeare complete with his quill in hand.

The back is lucky enough to have a stamped English design registration number ... six figures starting with a seven dating it to around 1925; the numbers 673750-751159 were used between 1920-1929.

The hinged lid reveals a removable Bakelite ink chamber for ease of refilling and cleaning.

Excellent condition, measuring 4 1/2" wide x 3 1/4" deep x 5" tall.
