An Antique Burgundy Porcelain Lamp

1900 - 1920
Description

Possibly once an old oil lamp, this lamp with it's original ornate brass base is 16" (40cm) from the lamp holder to the bottom of the lamp.

It measures 23" (58cm) at the widest part, and the base is 8" (20cm) at the widest points.

It was rewired to UK specifications a few years ago and is in perfect condition.

Although we say it is Edwardian, it could have been made anytime between 1900 and 1940 when oil lamps were still used.

Declaration

Lancaster Antiques has dated this piece to the Edwardian era.
