A Stunning Quality Walnut French Double Bed

1900 - 1920
Description

This stunning quality French walnut double bed is second to none. The solid walnut head board having a beautifully carved shell cartouche to the serpentine frame and centred by a wonderful heart shaped carved panel. The foot board again of serpentine outline having a beautiful carved heart shaped panel depicting a basket of flowers, supported on beautifully carved cabriole feet, made by Max Zidranski, Paris circa 1890-1900

Dimensions: 74" long x 58" wide Headboard 69" high foot board 38" high

Condition: This bed is in stunning original condition, a wonderful colour and patination. Although photographed without slats, there are slats available. The quality of the carving on this bed sets this bed aside from similar beds.
