A Good Oak George III Period Dresser Base

18th century
Description

A fine oak George III Period dresser base. Having a two plank rectangular solid oak top of wonderful colour and patination with a thumb moulded edge. The three rectangular frieze drawers each having brass swan neck handles above a wonderful shaped arcaded frieze. Having a pot board base, the whole raised on six turned supports with pegged construction through-out circa 1760-1770

Dimensions: 78" wide x 18" deep x 33" high

Condition: This dresser is in excellent original condition throughout. A wonderful colour and patination. The handles have been changed a long time ago in the 19th Century
