Pair of Victorian Hydrometer Pots

19th century
Description

A pair of tall brass hydrometer jugs with wood handles, both in very good condition.

These were used to measure the saline in the ship's boiler, and these are thought to be from the Navy.

They are 29cm in height, the handles are almost 17cm in length; the width at the top is 7cm and the width of the base is 13cm.

Lovely early Art Nouveau handle fixings.

The price is for the pair and includes postage and package for Inland UK residents.
