Georgian Rosewood Teapoy

19th century
Description

A charming figured rosewood teapoy with a sarcophagus style body, column support on a quadraform base with bun feet and inset castors. It has beautiful moulded detail to top and base which is all complete. It now has a pink upholstered interior for use as a sewing/work/trinket box.

It is in good condition for its age, but has had the odd small piece of veneer replaced and a slight shrinkage line on the base. C1830
