Microscope Slide Colectors Cabinet in Victorian Mahogany

Description

A very fine victorian mahogany microscope slide collectors cabinet with 28 drawers capable of housing 1008 standard size microscope slides.

This is a beautiful and classic slide cabinet absolutely typical of the mid to latter part of the 19th century. It is solidly constructed of rich and well figured mahogany and has 28 drawers all with ceramic data plates and turned ebony and ivory knobs. The drawers are all base lined with blue velvet and run smoothly. All the original furniture, (hinges, lock, key and handle), are present and fully functional.

Can be immediately put to work for it's original purpose or for the storage, protection and display of other small collectables.

Height. 15.5 inches.

Width. 13.75 inches.

Front to back. 11.5 inches.

Drawers. Width. 13 inches.

Front to back. 10.25 inches.

Overall depth 0.5 inches.
