A Mahogany Chippendale Style Ladies Cylinder Bureau

Description

A late 19th Century mahogany Chippendale Style ladies cylinder bureau. The top having a pierced fretwork gallery and with egg and dart moulding to the edge. Having a mahogany cylinder front which opens to reveal a pull out ratchet writing surface and a fitted interior. The arched knee hole flanked by two small drawers, the whole raised on four rounded mahogany supports with block feet circa 1890

Dimensions: 27" wide x 20" deep x 40" high (knee hole 12" wide x 26" high)

Condition: This desk is in excellent original condition, wear to the baize, one spandrel has been repaired to the right hand back leg
