This is a large dramatic Oil on Canvas depicting a Shipwreck off the Cornish Coast with forboding towering cliffs and seagulls swooping to fish and on their cliff edge perches.

A Marine Painter, he Exhibited between 1880-82 and lived at Polbrean, Lizard, Helston in Cornwall.

He Exhibited at the Grosvenor Gallery & the Walker Art Gallery Liverpool.
