A quality English ships clock. A brass case with bevelled glass. An 8" dial with outer minute markers and inner hours with sweep seconds. Slow/fast regulator to the dial. A clever device to the side to adjust the hands and on the opposite side to start it. An 8-day duration mechanism by Smiths. Circa 1940.
