Victorian Fireside Bin - Perfect for All Fuel Types - c1890

A super rectangle fireside lidded box ideally suited to the storage of kindling, wood, coal, paper, matches and spills.

This piece exhibits a pleasing 'beaten' finish to the exterior and is further embellished with a stamped and detailed wide strap running around the box.

The box benefits from a pair of original cup handles to the sides and the whole rides upon bun feet.

The bin is in very good, solid antique order throughout and has nice colour. Overall an unusual item offering both style and great practicality.
