Puckerings has dated this piece to the 1890s.
The glass is beautifully cut in the ever-popular hobnail design and a star cut on the underside.
The silver is hallmarked for Birmingham 1899 together with the makers initials M.J.J for the silversmith, Matthew John Jessop.

The lid fits perfectly, the interior beautifully gilded and the bottle complete with it's stopper.
The bottle as I said earlier, in superb undamaged condition with a diameter approximately 3 1/3" and standing 4 3/4" tall.
