Description

An 18th Century 5 Piece Delft Garniture Set, comprising 3 Jars with covers and 2 flanking vases.

The jars and covers with figurative finials of Chinamen playing bagpipes, the lids octagonal bell shape to compliment the bodies, and decorated with flower heads and scrolls.

The jars with baluster bodies of octagonal shape, with scenes of young Chinese boys dancing amongst a garden scene, the surrounds well decorated with scrolling flower heads and leaves, as per the covers.

The pair of flanking vases of tapering octagonal trumpet shape, with lobbed and spreading bottoms. The vases likewise decorated with dancing boys amongst a garden scene, surrounded by scrolling leaves and flowers. The sides and rear of all with further trailing leaf decoration.

Height 14" Width 6" Depth 5" of jars and covers.
