Antique Sterling Silver Ring Box for Three Rings - Original Interior - 1905

Description

A charming Edwardian ring box made from English sterling silver with hallmarks for Birmingham 1905; the makers initials SML are also present for the silversmith Samuel M Levi.

The box has most attractive repousse or embossed decoration with a vacant cartouche to the centre of the gently domed lid. The lid fits perfectly and the hinges in perfect working order too.

Once opened the fitted interior is revealed in an Ice Blue colour in a combination of velvet and silk.

Excellent condition, measuring 2 1/2" x 1 1/8" x 1".
