It strikes on the hour and half hour on a tuned bell.
The case is made of Persian Red marble and has a wonderful colour and white veining, this is complimented by the original dial which is in perfect condition and a contrasting brass door.
It is very ornate with metal mounts which has been gilded with hand applied gold leaf and not spray painted as is the majority of clocks seen.
The movement has just undergone a full overhaul, clean and service so you can be assured that this clock is in tip top condition and will give trouble free service for many years to come.
The clock comes with a key.
It is keeping accurate time to within 1 minute a week.
The clock comes with a full 12 month warranty.
