Pair of Hepplewhite Chairs - Oak - c1790

A fine pair of English Country chairs in Oak dating from c1790.

With classic Hepplewhite period 'camel back' and a pleasing splat this pair of chairs display great charm and superb proportion.

Riding upon Chippendale influenced un-tapered legs and featuring an original solid seat pad they present deep colour and patina.

With a seat height of 45cm (17.7") and excellent construction they are suitable for regular use.

Overall an excellent pair of chairs which will make a lovely addition to any setting. They are in very good solid order and ready to give another 200+ years of service.
