Description

A 19th C French cavalry helmet, the helmet with elaborate detailing, the body in white metal with brass trim and chinscales, the chinscales held in place with brass rosettes, original horsehair to the comb, the plain peak with brass trim and a wide brass mount of foliage, with a sweeping reeded mount above and leading to a well detailed mask.

In very good condition, all original, has original leather lining inside and good detailing! A fun, interesting item!
