Antique Chrome Gec Desk Lamp

1900 - 1920
Description

When this chrome desk lamp was recently rewired the electrician found the old GEC (Geneneral Electrical Council) stamp inside, dating it to 1910 - 1940.

It measures 42cm to the top of the swan neck curve at the top, and the base is 16cm square. It is very heavy and a good quality item, and now has an online switch fitted in the flex wiring.

The antique, original mob cap shade can be included if required; it is mainly opaque with a clear glass edging, but the lamp will take any other type of shade.

Postage and package within the UK is included in the price.
