An exquisite French tea caddy with a delightfully shaped front trimmed in a polished brass edging. The central panel of the slightly domed lid has an attractive parquetry design creating a series of star motifs.

The interior has two compartments, each topped with a Kingwood lid with Ivory knob.

The box comes complete with a tasselled working key.

Excellent condition, measuring 9 1/4" x 4 1/2" x 4 5/8".
