London Fine Antiques has dated this piece to the 1800s.
This George lll English Pembroke Table is an exquisite example presented in stunning condition.
Of classic proportions with a tapered leg and round cornered top this table delivers huge style.
The piece rides upon wide original castors with brass square over-cap leading into the leg.

Original draw pulls, lock escutcheon and lock are present.
The table top presents wonderful colour to the mahogany. The centre portion exhibits deep patina with fine condition, this is divided from the cross-banded outer by a train-line of boxwood and ebony which is repeated to the outer edge of the wide cross-banded section. At the perimeter a satinwood band adds further interest.

Looking magnificent at 220 years old the table is everything that is expected of a table of this type and era and represents a very rare find in this condition and with such quality, colour and patina.

The table will be perfect as a display table, lamp table, for intimate dining, presenting tea, as a writing desk or simply as a feature piece.
Overall this piece of furniture is in excellent order and will make a beautiful addition to any setting.
