Georgian Fireside Fuel Store - Wonderful Detailing - c1820

This helmet shaped scuttle bin displays gorgeous brass-work to the upper.

Presenting an open shape over a tapered round plinth base the traditional style is enhanced by the solid brass handle which bears excellent cast foliate detailing.

The scuttle has been a used practical item during its' life and has pleasing patina.

Overall a charming piece of fireside furniture which looks attractive and functions nicely. It is suitable for all fuel types and will make a lovely addition to any hearth area.
