The Clock strikes the hours on a bell. A nice feature to the Clock is the movement back and front plates have been made lancet shape to match the case and the edges and pendulum have been engraved.

George Handley and John Moore were both apprentices to John Thwaites. Handley and Moore started their company in 1800 and traded at 39 Clerkenwell Close they were very important and impressive Clock movement makers of their time. They made Clock movements for themselves and other Clockmakers.
The Clock movement has been cleaned and serviced.
