An Early-mid 20thc Chandelier

1900 - 1920
Description

An all original early 20thC chandelier completely rewired to UK standards with the original glass drops.

There are six outside lights, and three tucked inside the 'bag' shape which reflects light through the glass drops, and it is very much in the Empire style of that period.

It measures approximately 28" (71cm) in length and approximately 26" (66cm) at the widest point.

Swags of glass drops come down from the ceiling fitting to the brass rim and rows of faceted glass underneath form the bag shape with the original glass ball underneath. Some of the drops have new wirework to secure in position.
