Original Brass "Flying Cherub" Chandelier

Description

An early 20thC 'Flying Cherub' ceiling light with three brass winged cherubs forming a circle, their feet attached to a central ball and each holding a glass shade in one hand.

The brass work is designed to look like ribbons attached to the backs of the cherubs going up to a ceiling fitting. Lovely sharp and clear details on the faces and wings. We haven't made any attempt to clean or polish the cherubs, preferring the original look.

It measures 26" (66cm) in length and approximately 15" (38cm) across at the widest point, and has been wired to UK standards. The shades have been replaced at some stage.
