Description

A charming little vanity-bag (chanteh) of the Afshar tribes made around the end of the 19th century. The bag is in excellent condition with original flatwoven back and tie-cords at the top opening. The design is possibly a stylised rose with a lovely use of vegetable green for the tendrils.

Size: 24cm x 20cm (9.5" x 8").
