Description

A good late Victorain Black Slate and Marble Mantel Clock with white enamel dial, French eight day movement which strikes the hours and half hours on a bell.

The back of the moevement is signed:-

JBD

Jean Baptiste Delettrez was born in 1816 and died in 1887, he was an important maker of his time. He went into business with A.Brocot in 1851 at 62 Rue Charlot in Paris.

The Clock has the retailers name on the front of the dial:-

Arthur Jack

Paris & Cheltenham

The Clock movement has been cleaned and serviced.

Height - 8 ½ inches

Width - 8 ½ inches

Depth - 5 ½ inches
