Elmgarden has dated this piece to the Victorian era.
Avery attractive farmhouse sideboard or dresser base, it has in the centre, a panelled door enclosing a shelved cupboard, there is a bank of three drawers on either side and another above, these have their original turned wooden knobs
The counter top has a rounded edge and it stands on a stout plinth the sideboard is in very good condition it has been stripped and has a waxed finish; there are no loose joints all the drawers run well.
The dresser is 30” high; it is 54” wide and 19” deep
