Puckerings has dated this piece to the 1910s.
An unusual example, each beautifully shaped cake plates each have three ball feet to stand on once removed from the stand and each decorated with an Art Nouveau pierced or reticulated border, engraved to further enhance it's appeal.
Each plate is where the maker's mark can be found, E B & Co. S, for the silversmith, Edwin Blyde & Co. of Sheffield. Each also marked "Electroplated on Nickel Silver". The stand is marked "Made In England".
Excellent condition, the stand measuring 16 3/4" tall and each plate having a diameter measuring 8"
