Antique Victorian Pedestal Writing Desk

Description

A very good pedestal desk in walnut, by MAPLE & CO. This type of desk is sometimes known as a Dickens desk . The lower section has 3 drawers to either side, the centre drawer is a dummy drawer. The reason for this is because the sloping centre lifts to reveal storage with small drawers.The upper section has 5 small drawers plus 2 inkwells. This desk is in 3 sections for transport.The condition is very good having been repolished and 3 new leather skivers fitted,
