Late Regency Scroll Arm Chair - Fine Shape - c1835
A classically shaped English mahogany scroll arm chair dating from c1835.

Long supportive flowing arms and the well proportioned triple turned front legs combine attractively with the curved back bar and header rail.
The seat pad is traditionally stuffed and is of the 'drop-in' design. As seen in the images the seat pad requires recovering - it has a good internal frame and therefore this is straightforward job. We are happy to provide this service for a small charge if the purchaser wished to provide their choice of fabric.

The chair is of very good build quality. The frame is strong throughout and offers a generous seat height of 44cm (17.3") and an excellent seat width of 46cm (18.1).
A versatile chair which will make a lovely addition to any location.
