Large Wide Cheval Mirror - Stunning Condition - c1900
A lovely example of a large Mahogany Cheval Mirror presented in superb condition.
The mirror benefits from a well formed back-panel therefore allowing positioning in a location where the piece may be viewed from all angles and not just restricted to a corner or against a wall.
A dome topped mirror with bevel glass and detailed frame marries well against the sweeping moulded side struts.
The piece rides upon a serpentine base with scroll legs which offers a very stable base for the piece.
The mirror plate is in excellent order and original bronze fittings are present to the side.
Overall a really pleasing cheval mirror in very good order throughout and unusual in this large size. Perfect for daily use or to dress a room. Practical and fabulous.
