Oval Two Tier Table - Superb Condition - c1890

This Victorian mahogany table is a lovely size and very versatile.

The table is presented in exceptional order throughout.

The table top rides upon a splendid base with under-tier. Four curved legs support the serpentine edged table top. These are united by the under-tier shelf which forms a cross-stretcher and provides solidity to the piece. The under-tier shelf design matches that of the top displaying superb edge moulding and lovely colour.

Overall this piece of furniture is in very good condition with the mahogany grain displaying great depth of tone throughout. The table is well constructed and solid. An excellent and interesting piece and a very pretty example.
