Description

Early Victorian silver swing-handle cake basket; of lobed, circular form standing on a pedestal foot. The handle is foliate decorated to match the basket, which has a wonderful foliate border and delightful engraved decoration to the interior. Good quality piece, very crisp, and absolutely charming.

Birmingham. 1847. Robinson, Edkins & Aston.
