Antique French Louis Philippe Large Mahogany Double Wardrobe C1840 W6834

Description

Superb Antique Large French Louis Philippe Mahogany Double Wardrobe and dating from around 1840. Of excellent quality it has a moulded cornice top above a cross banded frieze with Architectural style moulding to each and to the centre. There are two full length panelled doors with pewter key escutcheon and working key and internally it is all hanging. To the base there is a long deep and double fronted drawer which is oak lined and with pewter handles. It stands on a moulded plinth base. The wardrobe completely disassembles (flat packs) for ease of transporting.

Measures 82" high x 25" deep x 21.5" internal depth x 76.5" wide

Of excellent quality and extremely heavy it is in very good condition with a lovely deep colour and patination to the quality mahogany and oozing all the charm and character of the period.
