French Gilt Upholstered Chair - Fine Shape - c1850

This attractive gilt chair offers classic French style and is perfect as a side chair, hall chair, bedroom seat or drawing room piece.

The chair looks fantastic with upholstered seat in a quality textile and matching braid. Carved cabriole legs and an oval upholstered back give the chair fine proportion.

The chair is of good build quality and offers a generous seat height of 45cm (17.7").

The age of the chair with the revealing of areas where the gilt has worn and the wear within the textile give the piece a very desirable overall finish.
