Puckerings has dated this piece to the 1850s.

The Silver Plated set consists of the spirit kettle with stand and burner, teapot, large sugar and creamer, all standing on beautifully cast stands. What makes this one particularly special is the bird finials on the kettle and teapot and the figural bird spouts on these two pieces.

The underside of each piece is fully marked by the top-notch silversmith, Martin Hall & Co. and dates to the late Victorian era, around 1885.
The best set I have had in a long, long time and never have the matching spirit kettle, so a lovely find and by such a fabulous maker. Excellent condition, the spirit kettle measuring 14" tall, the tea pot measuring 7 3/4" tall.
