Description

A quality striking and repeating French brass cased carriage clock. An enamel dial with blued steel 'moon' hands with 5 minute outer markers. A fluted carrying handle. A brass case with silvered panels to the top and base standing on feet. An 8-day duration mechanism striking the 1/2 hours and hours on a gong. Push button repeating. Signed to the dial by retailer 'Zinke Preston'. Circa 1880.
