A RARER, SMALL 6" DIAL MERCURY WHEEL BAROMETER

in a mahogany case with choice flame mahogany veneers. A 5 dial example with a swan-neck pediment. Silvered engraved dials. Circa 1830.

Signed to the level 'S Lelli, Newport'. He worked from 1839-1855 in Newport, Isle of Wight as noted in Banfields 'Barometer Makers and Retailers' book.
