Oak & Brass Candle Stems - Open Twist - c1880

A very desirable pair of Oak candle sticks with open twist stems presented in excellent condition.

At just over a foot tall this superb pair make a lovely statement or feature piece.

A solid oak 'wax-catcher' base leads via an open twist hand-carved stem into the cast brass bowl with foliate decoration.

The pair benefit from baize under-bases to protect delicate surfaces.

The pair are in superb condition and will make a very pleasing, functional decorative antique collectable.
