Very Large Beam Scale

1900 - 1920
Description

A very large De Grave of London beam scale. These scales are stamped Middlesex County Council and were used by Weights and Measures or Trading Standards

They are fine quality and stand on a mahogany base. There are several H. M. Customs & Excise stamps on the brass trays dating back to 1907 and weigh up to 56 pounds. Patent nos. 4983...3023 . More picts. available on request. These very impressive scales could look great in a restaurant , bar , hotel or hall .
