Description

A most impressive large inkstand with a combined weight over two kilos or nearly five pounds, the cut crystal inkwell alone measures a grand 3 12" square x 4 3/4" tall to top of hinged lid.

The stand is beautifully cast, probably in solid brass and silver-plated, the colour is silver and any gold tints just come from the overhead lights.

There are two supports to the front to sit one's dip pen.

Excellent condition, the base measuring 7 1/4" square.
