Set of Four Regency Dining Chairs - Buckle Back - c1830
An attractive set of English Regency mahogany dining chairs.
These chairs benefit from a wonderfully classic look due to the triple turned front legs and moulded edge with runs around the seat rail.
The set is in good condition throughout with strong frames. The seats are of a 'drop-in' design which makes them straightforward to re-upholster. The seats currently have a green velour covering which is in serviceable condition, however the webbing has sagged and the chairs, whilst usable, would benefit from a re-upholster at some stage.
They offer comfortable seating and have good width and height (46cm/18.1").
Overall a very stylish set of English antique chairs suitable for regular use.
