A Pair of Victorian Pastoral Water Colour Paintings

Description

A good pair of victorian pastoral water colour paintings by m.riley depicting rural scenes and characters.

The frames in which these paintings are mounted are original but have suffered over the years. They could be restored but re-framing is probably the best course.

The paintings are in very good condition and are sentimental images depicting trees, water, cottages etc, absolutely typical of the era. I would suggest that a dateline of about 1890 would be appropriate.

Both paintings are signed by the artist . One to the left, the other to the right.

Well preserved, good colour and very decorative.

All questions welcome.
