Description

A STUNNING and very unusual 19th Century Chinese Rice Pith Paper Painting of a Study of Fish. It has been very finely painted and the quaility is excellent as you can see the silver shimmering of the metalic paint which represent the scales, which looks so realistic, it's as if they were real. You can't quite see this in the pictures. It measures 16.5" by 11.5". The painting is in excellent original condition with a few brown specs which do not retract fom the beauty of this painting. It has had a later frame which has been very well done and compliments the painting.
