Standing over a conical base the sticks rise through a wedding band ferrule to a hardwood mid-section displaying deep-green grain effect and finishing with a classically shaped top cap.
The makers and date marks are evident. The candle sticks are in antique condition and display dings and dents to the silver at the upper consistent with use, and patina in the form of pitting at the base.
Overall a pleasing display pair offering interest with the unusual wooden mid-section delivering an attractive twist on the theme.
